Auditing and Assurance Standards Board
As a Senior Manager at the AUASB, Rajen is responsible for the planning, research, development and delivery of auditing and assurance standards and related guidance forming part of the AUASB strategy and corporate plan. Rajen’s areas of focus at the AUASB is on Australian Auditing Standards and related guidance affecting private sector (profit and not-for-profit) and public sector entities.
Before joining the AUASB Rajen held the position of Senior Analyst at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) where he had operational involvement in their financial reporting surveillance and audit firm inspection programs. This included having responsibility for technical accounting and audit matters and issues, and external stakeholder liaison.
Prior to ASIC, Rajen was a Director at the Australian National Audit Office (ANAO) and was primarily responsible for leading individual financial statement audits across the Commonwealth public sector.
Rajen is a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
