MANAGER - SUSTAINABILITY AND FINANCIAL REPORTING ASSURANCE

The Australian Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (AUASB) is seeking a talented and motivated Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Australia's sustainability and financial reporting assurance landscape and offers attractive professional development prospects.
3-year contract | Full-time or part-time | Melbourne (preferred) - other locations considered | Hybrid work arrangements | Travel may be required
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of sustainability and financial reporting assurance standards and guidance under the AUASB’s work program
- Contribute to project stakeholder engagement and outreach activities
- Deliver implementation and education materials and activities on sustainability and financial reporting assurance
- Support senior team members in project management and delivery
- Support ongoing engagement with international and national standard setters
Qualifications and Experience
- 4-7 years’ experience in auditing/assurance over financial or sustainability information
- Understanding of Australian auditing and assurance standards and their practical application
- Awareness of financial and sustainability reporting requirements in current and proposed legislation and standards
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Project management experience
- Stakeholder engagement and management skills
- Qualification in auditing/accounting and/or sustainability assurance/reporting
