Terence is Director of Foresight Consulting Group, specialising in climate change and sustainability based in Melbourne. For the past decade he was Partner and APAC Leader of EY’s Climate Change and Sustainability team. Terence was EY Oceania's Indigenous Reconciliation Leader (2016 - 2022) and also founded the firm's First Nations practice. He was also the leader of EY Oceania’s cultural diversity network (2018 – 2025). He is an environmental and sustainability advisory and assurance specialist with over 30 years’ experience in advising governments and corporations on sustainability issues. Terence holds a degree in Environmental Engineering (UWA), is a Chartered Professional Engineer and a Fellow and Engineering Executive of the Institute of Engineers, Australia. He is also a Clean Energy Regulator accredited Category 2 Auditor. Until its acquisition by EY in 2014, Terence was Founder/Executive Director of Net Balance, Australia's largest standalone sustainability and climate change practice at the time, one of Australia’s first B Corporations.
Terence is the Chair of Amnesty International Australia, Chair of Global Citizen Australia and non-executive director of the Australian Conservation Foundation. He is also an Assoc Prof at Monash Business School. He is a former member of the Technical Working Group of the International Sustainability Standards Board.
