Julie Crisp

Deputy Chair

Julie Crisp was appointed as Auditor-General for the Northern Territory in September 2014.  Julie has more than 20 years’ experience in the delivery of assurance and advisory services and was previously a partner of an international professional services firm with whom she had 16 years of service following employment with a sole-proprietor Chartered Accountancy Firm.  

Prior to her involvement in the profession, Julie held accounting and non-accounting related roles within various industry sectors including tourism, horticultural and retail. Julie is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and Fellow of CPA Australia, is a Certified Internal Auditor and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Governance Institute of Australia and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators.

Julie has previously held the role of Convenor of the Australasian Council of Auditors-General (ACAG) and is the Northern Territory representative on ACAG’s special interest committees, the Financial Reporting and Accounting Committee and the Audit Standards Committee.
