IAASB Webinar Assurance on Sustainability Reporting

The IAASB have recently held deep dive educative webinars on the proposed International Standard on Sustainability Assurance (ISSA) 5000, General Requirements for Sustainability Assurance Engagements. The webinars provide stakeholders, especially assurance practitioners and regulators, with:

• an understanding of how this global baseline for sustainability assurance was developed.
• an explanation of some of the key elements of a sustainability assurance engagement in accordance with ISSA 5000.
• a good basis for navigating the Exposure Draft (ED-5000)

Stakeholders are encouraged to watch the webinar as they prepare to consult with the AUASB and respond to the AUASB’s Consultation Paper Exposing ISSA 5000. The AUASB will shortly release dates and times for AUASB outreach sessions on this key strategic priority area. A link to the webinar is provided [here].
