The AUASB released its Consultation Paper seeking public comment on the IAASB’s Exposure Draft on Proposed ISSA 5000 General Requirements for Sustainability Assurance Engagements (Proposed ISSA 5000). The AUASB now shares the IAASB’s Frequently Asked Questions providing some insights on ISSA 5000.
We encourage you to monitor the AUASB’s website. In the upcoming month, the AUASB will share ISSA 5000 educative materials and in October, the AUASB will be hosting a series of Roundtable events seeking stakeholder input into the AUASB Consultation Paper.
